Job Responsibilities:
1. Inbound / Receiving
- Safely unloading products from incoming delivery trucks, might need to use pallet jacks.
- Check and verify the received goods against the purchase order.
- Visually inspect items for any damage that may have occurred during transit.
- Updating the stock into inventory software.
2. Storage
- Organize the goods / products to designated storage locations.
- Ensure all goods / products are stored neatly and aisles are kept clear for safety and efficiency.
3. Inventory Management & Control
- Participating in a full, wall-to-wall count of all inventory, typically done quarterly.
- Prepare enough stock to support daily sales.
- Investigate discrepancies by research and resolve the differences between physical stock and computer system records.
- Periodically check stock for expired dates, damage or deterioration.
4. Pick and Pack (Order Fulfillment)
- Pick and pack accurately follow pick list. Pack carefully and nicely follow company policy.
- Generate and affix the correct shipping label and packing list.
5. Outbound / Shipping
- Organized packed orders by carriers.
- Complete inventory out in the system by scanning out each products during packing.
- Scheduling pickups and communicating with all the drivers.
6. Maintenance, Safety and Housekeeping
- Perform basic preventative maintenance on equipment and coldrooms.
- Always sweep the floors, dispose trash and cardboard, and generally keep the work environment clean and safe (5S).
- Adhering to all safety rules, including wearing safety boots and insulated jacket when working in the coldroom.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in packaging, manufacturing, or food handling will be prioritised.
- Good physical stamina and strength is required. Ability to stand, lift, bend for long hours.
- Ensure accuracy in picking and packing.
- Essential for meeting delivery deadlines and team efficiency (Reliability and Punctuality).
- Basic mathematics and computer skills needed for counting inventory and using system scanner.
- Attend WSQ Food Safety Course Level 1 is a plus.
- Age: 21 - 45 years old
