The Storekeeper is responsible for the efficient and accurate management of all warehouse operations. This role is crucial for maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring a safe and organized workspace and providing timely support to internal departments.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Receive, inspect, and record all incoming goods, ensuring they meet quality standards and match purchase orders.
- Accurately store, label and organize inventory in designated areas.
- Issue materials to production departments as per requisitions, ensuring timely and correct delivery.
- Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile physical inventory with system records, promptly addressing discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records in accordance with company procedures.
- Ensure the warehouse remains clean, organized and compliant with hygiene and safety standards.
- Assist in loading and unloading goods, ensuring safe handling and storage practices.
- Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
REQUIREMENTS
- At least 1-2 years of related experience, preferably in food manufacturing sector.
- Preferably with Singapore forklift/ reach truck license.
- Prior experience in warehouse or logistics operations is preferred.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory systems are advantageous.
- Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks.
- Good attention to detail and sense of responsibility.
- Team player with a positive work attitude
