Job Summary
You will support warehouse operations by accurately processing delivery and storage orders, maintaining stock records, conducting stock checks, and ensuring proper handling and storage of goods to support smooth supply chain activities.
Responsibilities
- Use software to record stock-in and stock-out transactions to maintain accurate inventory records
- Process delivery orders following requirements and issue goods on a first-in, first-out basis to ensure stock rotation
- Process storage orders and arrange goods in designated locations to optimize warehouse organization
- Conduct routine stock checks to identify and report missing or damaged items for timely resolution
- Verify goods quantity and condition before receiving deliveries from suppliers to ensure accuracy and quality
- Inspect machinery items returned from sites to confirm they are in good condition before storing
- Assist drivers with loading and unloading goods to facilitate efficient transport operations
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and proper layout of stock areas to ensure a safe and organized warehouse environment
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Familiarity with mechanical and electrical materials to support handling of specialized inventory
- Possession of a Class 3 Driving License to assist with transport-related tasks
