Maintain accurate records of stock receipts, issuance, transfers, and inventory withdrawals.
Receive, inspect, unload, and properly store incoming goods and supplies.
Verify deliveries against purchase orders and report any damages, discrepancies, or shortages to the relevant department for follow-up and documentation.
Organise, label, pack, and arrange stock systematically to ensure easy identification and accessibility.
Conduct regular stock rotation and coordinate disposal of damaged, expired, or excess items.
Monitor inventory levels and ensure adequate stock availability at all times.
Maintain proper documentation and inventory control procedures to support accurate stock management.
Coordinate movement of materials, equipment handling, and minor maintenance activities when required.
Ensure the dry store area is clean, organised, and compliant with hygiene and safety standards.
Adhere to company policies, warehouse procedures, and storage regulations.
Work closely with internal departments and support teamwork by fostering positive communication and cooperation.
Assist with stock counts, inventory audits, and other warehouse-related duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
Minimum secondary school education or equivalent qualification.
Prior experience as a Storekeeper, Warehouse Assistant, or in a similar inventory-related role is preferred.
Experience in dry store or warehouse operations will be an added advantage.
Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently.
Good attention to detail and accuracy in inventory handling and record-keeping.
Knowledge of inventory management processes, including receiving, storing, and issuing goods.
Ability to maintain proper documentation and stock records.
Basic computer literacy and familiarity with inventory management systems is an advantage.
Good communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and internal departments.
Familiarity with workplace safety and housekeeping standards.
Able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Positive attitude, reliable, and willing to work overtime or weekends when operationally required.
Strong problem-solving skills to address inventory discrepancies and operational issues effectively.
