Job Description

SUMMARY:

A store officer is responsible to manage all the operations in our store. In this position, you will play a key role in the proper care and maintenance of our stock, including ordering, receiving, and managing inventory.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

General

  • Procurement and purchasing support.
  • Abide the store process workflow for parts receiving, binning and issuance.
  • Respond to all e mail request from management and all suppliers.
  • Support on the internal and external stock audit.
  • Settle all the issues on receiving part.
  • Check Vehicle Drawing for parts requisition and inform purchaser to raise PO.
  • Handling all the Equipment Matters of NOBE, MSI and CFMS.
  • Weekly arrangement on disposal of faulty parts
  • Parts Distribution and enquires to all the Vehicle Technicians.
  • Abide the store process workflow for warranty claims.
  • Checking of discrepancies from weekly stock take.
  • Abide to the store process workflow for reconditioned parts.
  • Daily Lubricant oil photo reading, Diesel, AdBlue and coolant.
  • Forklift: Loading & Unloading of Parts, Lubricants, Coolants, Gearbox, battery etc.
  • Support the Parts Manager on day-to-day operations.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Flexibility of working hours is essential as shift and weekend work may be a feature of this role.
  • Computer literate with a broad knowledge of a range of software products.
  • An engineering awareness and familiarity with vehicle component parts.
  • Stock management experience ideally within a similar business.
  • Experience of using and administration of computerised inventory systems.
  • To hold and retain a valid forklift operator licence.
  • Ensure Zero Industrial accident and compliance to all statutory and or governmental regulations.

SAFETY AND COMPANY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Adhere to all Tower Transit policies and procedures.
  • To take care of own safety at all times by complying with your responsibilities, particularly in relation to Health and Safety, as outlined in the Company policies and procedures and under the Workplace Safety and Health Act, Cap 354A.

To report to the Line Manager or a Supervisor any injury, collision of dangerous occurrence in which you may have been involved, or are aware of having taken place at your work location, or any concern you have about health and safety issues.
