Infrastructure Oversight: Manage the end-to-end maintenance of Enterprise Storage (SAN/NAS/Flash), server hardware, and virtualization layers.
Preventative Strategy: Shift the team from reactive to proactive by implementing robust monitoring, firmware patch management, and predictive failure analysis.
Incident Management: Lead the technical response during Severity 1 outages, performing deep-dive Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to prevent recurrence.
Risk & Lifecycle Management: Manage end-to-end Hardware Lifecycle Management (LCM), including proactive identification of EoL equipment.
Capacity Planning: Monitor storage growth and compute trends to ensure the business maintain in optimal performance buffers.
Team Mentorship: Supervise a team of technicians/engineers, conducting code reviews, technical training, and performance evaluations.
Requirements:
Diploma or above in Computer Science, Electronics, or related field.
7+ years in IT infrastructure with at least 2 years in a leadership
Deep knowledge of Storage Area Networks (SAN), iSCSI, Fiber Channel, and high-availability clusters.
Strong Linux/Windows administration and automation skills (Python, PowerShell, or Bash).
Good communication skills able to coordinate with customer IT teams.
Relevant certs such as HCIE-storage certificate is value added
