Job Description

Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated Stewarding Supervisor to oversee day-to-day stewarding operations and ensure hygiene and sanitation standards are consistently maintained across kitchens and food service areas within our integrated resort. This role supervises stewarding team members, supports equipment and inventory management, and ensures smooth stewarding operations to support kitchen and restaurant service.

Key Responsibilities


Operational Supervision

  • Supervise stewarding team members in daily stewarding operations including dishwashing and cleaning of kitchen and service areas.
  • Ensure adequate staffing levels to support operational requirements and functions.
  • Demonstrate understanding of Banquet Event Orders (BEO) and execute setup procedures accurately and efficiently.
  • Monitor work performance and ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
  • Maintain HACCP standards within the kitchen and surrounding areas at all times.
  • Ensure that the usage and distribution of chemicals and operating equipment is correctly managed and recorded.
  • Conduct daily spot checks to ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are upheld in the kitchen and adjacent areas.

Hygiene & Sanitation Compliance

  • Maintain high standards of hygiene and sanitation across all food preparation and washing areas in accordance with company standards.
  • Ensure proper handling and storage of cleaning chemicals and stewarding equipment.

Equipment & Inventory Management

  • Conduct regular inventory checks of operating equipment and maintain proper records.
  • Ensure all equipment is in good working condition and report maintenance or replacement needs.
  • Possess product knowledge in operating service equipment (OSE)

Team Coordination

  • Provide guidance and support to stewarding team members during daily operations.
  • Ensure team members follow established cleaning and safety procedures.
  • Oversee day and night operations by leading team members, managing shift handovers with cleaning staff, and ensuring all tasks are effectively followed through and completed.


Requirements

  • Minimum 1-2 years of supervisory experience in stewarding or hospitality operations.
  • Knowledge of F&B operations, kitchen equipment, and cleaning chemicals.
  • Food hygiene and fire safety certifications are an advantage.
  • Ability to perform shift work and work in a fast-paced environment.
