Our client is a global leader in the process automation and engineering sector and they are seeking a strategic and execution-focused Product & Strategy Leader to drive regional product planning and business strategy across the diverse Asia Pacific markets. This high-impact role is pivotal in shaping product-market fit, driving localized innovation, and aligning business priorities to accelerate growth across the region.
The Role
Reporting to the General Manager, you will play a key role in driving the following:
Regional Product & Market Strategy
- Defineand drive the APAC product vision, roadmap, and localization strategy.
- Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitive dynamics to inform decisions.
- Identify and prioritize new market opportunities and go-to-market strategies.
- Lead cross-functional teams to ensure successful regional product launches.
- Track and optimize KPIs to improve product and business performance.
Business Transformation & 80/20 Execution
- Lead 80/20 assessments to identify waste and improve velocity across functions.
- Deliver breakthrough financial and productivity improvements.
- Engage employees at all levels to drive problem-solving and waste elimination.
Strategic Initiatives & Continuous Improvement
- Oversee execution of transformation initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
- Coach and develop teams to embed lean thinking and 80/20 prioritization.
- Simplify complexity, reduce waste, and optimize resource allocation.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting
- Track key metrics and financial performance to measure progress.
- Collaborate with workstreams to evaluate initiative effectiveness.
- Prepare reports and presentations for leadership on progress and impact.
Your Profile
As the successful candidate, you will possess a degree in engineering, business, supply chain, finance, or operations with the following relevant experience:
- 8+ years of experience in a global or international business environment.
- Proven success leading large-scale change and transformation initiatives.
- Deep expertise in lean methodologies and hands-on Kaizen leadership.
- Strong project management, analytical, and strategic thinking skills.
- Excellent communication, coaching, and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred.
- Fluent in English additional APAC languages a plus.
