We are looking for an energetic and reliable Stall Assistant to support the daily operations of our mixed vegetable rice stall. You will be responsible for preparing ingredients, serving customers with speed and accuracy, and maintaining a high standard of cleanliness at the stall.
1. Food Preparation & Cooking Support
Assist the Head Chef with washing, peeling, chopping, and marinating meat and vegetables.
Refill food trays promptly as dishes run low to ensure the display remains appetizing.
Basic cooking duties, such as deep-frying or preparing simple side dishes, as required.
2. Counter Service & Sales
Provide efficient and friendly service to customers during peak meal hours.
Scoop and portion dishes accurately according to company standards to manage food costs.
Handle cashiering, including cash & PayNow.
Pack takeaway orders securely, ensuring all condiments and utensils are included.
3. Cleaning & Food Safety
Maintain strict hygiene standards in accordance with SFA (Singapore Food Agency) regulations.
Clean and sanitize food trays, display glass, and prep surfaces throughout the shift.
Perform end-of-day cleaning, including mopping the floor and washing kitchen equipment.
Ensure proper storage and labeling of ingredients (First-In, First-Out method).
Experience: Prior experience in F&B or coffee shop environments is an advantage, but not required.
Certification: Must possess a valid Food Safety Course Level 1 certificate (or be willing to attend the course).
Physical Fitness: Ability to stand for long periods and work in a warm, fast-paced environment.
Communication: Ability to communicate in basic English and/or Mandarin to interact with diverse customers.
Attitude: Punctual, hardworking, and a strong team player.
Shift: 6-day work week Mon-Fri 6:00AM - 3:00PM | Sat 6:00AM - 1:00PM
