Roles & Responsibilities
- Design and develop machine control and automation software for advanced semiconductor equipment.
- Develop application software using C#, C++, .NET and object-oriented programming.
- Develop HMI, machine sequencing, recipe management, alarms, diagnostics, and production logging.
- Develop multi-axis motion control, precision positioning, and synchronization.
- Integrate PLC, servo systems, industrial I/O, sensors, vision systems, and machine peripherals.
- Develop interfaces using SECS/GEM, EtherCAT,TCP/IP, OPC UA and other industrial protocols.
- Optimize machine performance, cycle time, reliability, and fault recovery.
- Lead software integration, debugging, troubleshooting, and system validation.
- Collaborate with Mechanical, Electrical, Vision, and Process Engineering teams.
- Support machine commissioning and overseas customer projects when required.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer/Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related discipline.
- 10+ years of relevant experience in semiconductor equipment or industrial automation.
- Strong C#, C++, .NET and object-oriented programming skills.
- Experience with Windows-based automation software, multithreading, PLC, motion control, and servo systems.
- Familiarity with industrial communication protocols and equipment integration.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with a hands-on, independent mindset.
