This Staff Engineer for process engineering will be responsible for line sustaining, troubleshooting, existing products improvement and new product industrialization.
Job Responsibilities:
- Aid Process Manager to manage the Team.
- Provide Technical knowledge sharing and support to the Team
- Drive Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma initiatives to reduce waste.
- Analyze process data to identify improvement opportunities.
- Process Optimization and Improvement in ECN projects
- Ensure KPIs are closely monitored and within control
- Daily line troubleshooting and sustaining
- Involve in RCA, FMEA and Customer Complaints Troubleshooting
- Maintain and Review Process Documentations
- Verify and ensure BOM and Routing setup properly for new or existing material numbers in SAP
- Support customer / certification audit
- Involve as internal auditors for certification need
- Ensure smooth transition to mass manufacturability in PDP and CD Projects
- Participant and support in New Process & Equipment Development Projects with NPI teams
- Involve in Procurement initiatives in 2nd sourcing or EOL situation
- Lead individual COGS/Cost Reduction Projects
Job Requirement:
- Minimum Bachelor of Engineering and above (Chemical, Electrical and electronics, Material science)
- Minimum 6 years of experience in manufacturing environment and 2 years of experience in managing a team
- Experience in Lean Six Sigma , Six Sigma Green/Black belt certification is highly advantageous
- Experience / participant on Lean manufacturing execution Cycletime improvement , Yield improvement , Waste reduction , Value stream mapping and new line setup etc
- Strong problem analysis, troubleshooting and solving skills.
- Fundamental knowledge in Operational Health and Systems (OHS) and Environmental Management System (EMS).
- Fundamental SAP knowledge is an advantage to aid in creating BOM, Routing and New Material number creation
