Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure all dialysis equipment is properly cleaned, maintained, and safely stored to meet clinical standards.
- Keep supplies and equipment well-stocked and ready to support uninterrupted patient care.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and patient-friendly environment within the dialysis centre.
- Work closely with the healthcare team to deliver effective haemodialysis treatments.
- Perform needling for A-V fistulas and A-V grafts with confidence and precision.
- Verify that all dialysis machines and related equipment are fully operational before, during, and after each treatment.
- Adhere to strict infection control protocols, including thorough disinfection of machines, chairs, and work areas after every use.
- Monitor and document patients vital signs throughout treatment, promptly escalating any abnormalities.
- Support doctors and colleagues during patient treatments and examinations to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Take on additional responsibilities as assigned by the Head Nurse, contributing to continuous improvement in patient care.
