Staff Nurse

Responsibilities

• Provide basic nursing duties, including phlebotomy, vaccination, and wound dressing. Assist the physician in procedures, specifically in endocrinology investigations and treatment. Manage the dispensing of medication and maintain the inventory of drugs, performing quarterly stock takes. Handle patient medical records with accuracy and confidentiality. Address phone calls and inquiries, including remote monitoring for patients. Schedule patient appointments and registrations effectively. Coordinate referrals and manage appointment booking. Perform both clinical and administrative tasks related to specialty procedures during patient admissions. Support the smooth operation of clinic processes and assist the surgeon during surgical procedures. Educate patients and monitor their progress regularly. Collaborate within a small team to efficiently multitask and complete assigned duties. Stay updated on clinical management as needed. Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Nursing. A minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare, encompassing both clinical and administrative functions. Registered with the Singapore Nursing Board. Proven leadership abilities along with strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills. Excellent patient care orientation and service attributes. Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a team player and independently.
