STAFF NURSE (ORTHOPAEDIC)!
Working Hours: 5.5 days (Mon to Fri: 8:30am - 5:30pm, Sat: 8:30am - 12:30pm)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care during orthopaedic imaging procedures (X-ray, MRI, CT scans).
- Assist with patient preparation, ensuring proper positioning and comfort during imaging, and monitor vital signs throughout procedures.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including radiologists and orthopaedic specialists, to ensure seamless patient care and accurate documentation of patient records.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, and assist in orthopaedic surgeries and procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Educate patients and families on health management, post-operative care, and radiology procedures.
- Maintain a safe, sterile environment, adhering to infection control protocols.
- Assist with OT appointment bookings, insurance claims, and MediSave processing.
- Collaborate in the development and execution of care plans with an emphasis on holistic, patient-centered care.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, quality standards, and best practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Diploma in Nursing from an accredited institution.
- 2-3 years of experience in orthopaedic nursing or diagnostic imaging.
- Valid Nursing Registration with the Singapore Nursing Board.
