You will be responsible for attending to patients and liaising with doctors and various departments providing coordination and assistance. You play a vital role in the department providing excellent front line customer service to patients.
Roles &Responsibilities
. Assist doctors during consultations, examinations, and minor medical procedures.
. Perform patient assessment, vital signs monitoring, and nursing interventions as required.
. Administer medications, vaccinations, injections, and treatments as prescribed by the attending doctor.
. Conduct health screening procedures.
. Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation and electronic medical records.
. Ensure proper infection prevention and control practices, including sterilization of instruments and maintenance of a clean and safe clinical environment.
. Comply with the clinic's policies and procedures, as well as the MOH regulations.
. Work collaboratively with doctors and allied health professionals to deliver quality patient care.
. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and undertake any other duties assigned by Chief Nurse.
Job Requirements
. Minimum diploma or degree in Nursing.
. Registered with SNB, with a valid practising certificate.
. Possess a valid BCLS/AED certification.
. Minimum 3 years of relevant clinical nursing experience in a primary care, outpatient clinic setting will be an advantage.
. Good interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centered approach.
. Able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and EMR system.
. Meticulous, responsible and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
