Job Scope:
- Prepare patients for endoscopic procedures by performing pre-assessment, verifying medical history, obtaining consent, and ensuring readiness for procedures
- Assist physicians during a range of endoscopic procedures (e.g. gastroscopy, colonoscopy, and advanced cases where required) while maintaining a sterile and safe environment
- Monitor and assess patients vital signs and condition throughout procedures, including during sedation, ensuring prompt response to any changes
- Provide post-procedure care, including recovery monitoring, assessment for complications, and patient education prior to discharge
- Handle, clean, and disinfect endoscopy equipment in strict compliance with hospital infection control and safety protocols
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care, procedures, and clinical observations in accordance with hospital standards
- Adhere to hospital policies, quality assurance standards, and participate in audits, safety checks, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure efficient workflow and high standards of patient care
- Support high patient volumes in a fast-paced environment and participate in shift work / on-call duties where required
Requirement:
- Min Diploma in Nursing
- Able to start within a short notice period
