Staff Nurse (Cardiovascular Lab)

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Nursing Leaders to ensure patient-centered nursing care in the Cardiovascular Laboratory and Cath Lab. Provide nursing support services in the Diagnostic Imaging Department and Cardiovascular Laboratory. Lead the Code Blue Team during cardiac arrest situations, ensuring timely and effective response. Assist Radiologists, Cardiologists, and other Specialists during diagnostic and invasive procedures. Insert cannulas as directed for contrast examinations and prepare sterile trolleys for procedures. Conduct Newborn Hearing Screening and ECG tests. Ensure patients complete Consent Forms for various examinations, including MRI, IVP, and CT scans. Explain procedures to patients and provide reassurance as needed. Undertake additional tasks assigned by the Manager to support departmental operations.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Nursing with a valid Nursing Board license in Singapore. Strong teamwork qualities, initiative, and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment. Experience assisting in diagnostic procedures prior exposure to an Anaesthesia Unit is advantageous. Willingness to commit to a 5.5-day work week and handle on-call responsibilities when required.
