Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Degree, Professional Degree in Nursing, or an equivalent qualification
- Candidate must be a State Registered Nurse with a valid certification issued by the Singapore Nursing Board
Responsibilities:
- Provide preventive and curative medical services under the supervision of the Doctor and Head Nurse
- Monitor and oversee the overall health of the residents, while participating in and supervising medical and nursing care routines
- Supervise and evaluate the performance of Nursing Aides and Health Attendants
- Assist in managing emergency situations within the Home
- The Staff Nurse will report to the Head (Nursing and Therapy)
Work Location
The Welfare Homes provide care for destitute persons, and the work location will be either Bukit Batok, Admiralty Street, or Buangkok Green.
- Acacia Home is a seven-storey facility with a capacity of 250 beds, catering male destitute persons. The workplace is located at Admiralty Street.
- Bukit Batok Home for the Aged is a three-storey facility with a capacity of 195 beds, catering male and female destitute persons. The workplace is located at Bukit Batok.
- Tembusu Home at Pelangi Village is a seven-storey facility with a capacity of 190 beds, catering male destitute persons. The workplace is located at Buangkok Green.
- Thuja Home at Pelangi Village is a four-storey facility with a capacity of 239 beds, catering to female destitute persons. The workplace is located at Buangkok Green.
