We are looking for a reliable and experienced Staff Meal Chef to join our Central Kitchen in the North-Eastern region of Singapore. This role is responsible for preparing two daily meals for approximately 80 staff members, ensuring meals are nutritious, well-balanced, and prepared on time.

The successful candidate will be supported by one kitchen assistant and will play an important role in maintaining a positive dining experience for our staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and prepare two staff meals daily for about 80 employees

  • Lead and supervise one kitchen assistant in daily food preparation

  • Prepare simple, hearty, and balanced meals suitable for staff dining

  • Ensure food is ready on schedule and in sufficient quantity

  • Maintain high standards of kitchen hygiene and food safety

  • Manage ingredients, portioning, and food costs responsibly

  • Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the kitchen team for replenishment

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment

Requirements

  • Experience in catering kitchens, buffet operations, economic rice stalls, staff canteens, or similar high-volume cooking environments

  • Ability to cook large portions efficiently while maintaining consistency and quality

  • Familiar with basic food safety and kitchen hygiene practices

  • Able to work independently and manage daily meal planning

  • Responsible, organized, and a good team player

Salary & Work Arrangement

  • Salary: From $2,300 onwards (commensurate with experience), excluding benefits

  • Work Schedule: 5.5 days per week

    • Wednesday: Half day

    • Sunday: Off on a rotational basis

  • Location: North-Eastern region of Singapore

  • Workplace: Central Kitchen serving approximately 80 staff members
