Job Summary

The Staff People Business Partner serves as a strategic advisor to senior leaders and business collaborators, driving the execution of people strategies and programs that enable business success. This role partners closely with leadership teams to improve organizational effectiveness, develop talent, strengthen employee engagement, and deliver exceptional leader experiences. The incumbent acts as a trusted consultant, leveraging people insights, analytics, and HR expertise to support strategic objectives and champion a high-performing culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with senior leaders (Senior Director & above) across assigned business groups to drive the successful implementation and adoption of enterprise-wide people programs, initiatives, and strategies.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to executive and senior leadership teams, ensuring a seamless and positive leader experience across all people-related processes and programs.

  • Act as a subject matter expert across a broad range of HR disciplines, providing guidance on talent management, organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, performance management, workforce planning, and leadership development.

  • Provide one-on-one coaching and strategic counsel to senior leaders on career development, leadership effectiveness, succession planning, employee relations, and other critical people matters.

  • Develop and implement enablement strategies for key corporate people programs in partnership with regional and global business partners, including performance management cycles, employee engagement surveys, talent reviews, and leadership development initiatives.

  • Gather and synthesize business and employee feedback, partnering with Centers of Excellence (COEs) to continuously enhance people programs, processes, and employee experiences.

  • Support the development and implementation of workforce and people strategies aligned with business priorities using data-driven insights and organizational trends.

  • Apply people analytics and workforce data to generate actionable insights, build executive-level presentations, assess key talent metrics, and support strategic decision-making.

  • Lead or contribute to cross-functional projects and transformation initiatives, ensuring effective change management, stakeholder alignment, and successful execution.

Other Responsibilities

  • Integrates AI-assisted tools and insights into daily work to improve productivity, quality, and effectiveness, while exercising sound judgment and complying with organizational standards and legal requirements.

  • Applies AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot) to support data analysis, insight generation, decision-making, and the development of executive-level presentations, communications, and business recommendations.

  • Contributes to a culture of continuous improvement by identifying, testing, adopting, and sharing AI-enabled enhancements within their scope of work.

Minimum Required Qualifications/Experience

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Manufacturing, Human Resources, Business, or equivalent practical experience. Candidates from other disciplines with relevant experience are also encouraged to apply.

  • Minimum 8+ years of HR Business Partnering experience, including 3-4 years supporting a manufacturing, engineering, operations, or related environment.

Must Have Technical Skills

  • Proven experience planning and executing enterprise-wide people programs, including Annual Performance Cycles, Employee Surveys, and related talent initiatives.

  • Strong executive partnering experience supporting Senior Director-level leaders and above.

  • Experience supporting large-scale organizations or business groups of 1,000+ employees.

  • Strong strategic thinking skills coupled with business acumen and the ability to align people strategies with business objectives.

  • Excellent data storytelling skills, with the ability to translate insights into actionable recommendations.

  • Proficiency in Workday, Excel, PowerPoint, and other business productivity tools.

Must Have Soft Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across HR Business Partner teams, COEs, and business functions.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Adaptability, resilience, and sound judgment in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
