As a Staff Engineer in Design Automation Infrastructure, you will develop a revolutionary semiconductor design workflow that combines AI, databases, analytics, automation, and hybrid cloud technologies. You'll collaborate with corporate IT and design teams to enable automation, increase efficiency, and modernize workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver on OKRs and project milestones.
- Mentor junior engineers and enforce Agile project management practices.
- Architect and implement end-to-end design infrastructure for automation in semiconductor design.
- Develop workflows for progress tracking, flow control, and reporting through analytics and dashboards.
- Deploy and manage AI/ML infrastructure, including MLOps and data pipelines.
- Ensure efficient usage of cloud resources and recommend improvements.
- Collaborate with internal teams to enhance design infrastructure and resolve gaps.
Additional Responsibilities
- Adhere to Environmental, Health, Safety & Security programs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, CAD, PDK, Cloud vendors, and business leaders.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (10+ years), Master's degree (8+ years), or PhD (6+ years) in IT, Computer Science, AI, or related fields.
- 3+ years of experience in relational databases, big data development, and deployment.
- 2+ years of experience in DevOps, Python-based automation, and distributed code versioning.
- 2+ years of experience in data pipelines, MLOps, and cloud engineering.
- 1+ year of experience in workflows, analytics, and dashboard development.
- 1+ year of experience in AI/ML, including reinforcement learning, pipelines, and transformers.
- 1+ year of experience developing software for EDA (Electronic Design Automation).
- Fluency in English (written and verbal).
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in Agile project management.
- Certification in AI/ML, MLOps, pipelines, or transformers.
- Certification in Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud engineering and relational databases.
- Strong project management, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and foster innovation through collaboration.
