General Summary
Product and Test Development Engineering (PDTE) is seeking an experienced Digital Processors and Sensors Characterization Engineer to develop test and characterization solutions supporting:
- New Product Introduction (NPI), including Silicon Validation and Characterization
- Manufacturing enablement of Qualcomm System-on-Chip (SoC) products

This role provides strong

Requirements
- 6+ years of industry experience as a Product and Test Development Engineer
- Hands‑on experience in Processors or Sensors performance characterization
- Experience with ATE test program development
- Solid understanding of VLSI technologies and familiarity with Digital Baseband products
- Programming experience in C/C++/VB/Java/Python is a plus
- Experience with AI programming tools (e.g. Claude Code) is a plus
- Experience with data analytics tools such as O+, Data Power, Exensio, and basic Machine Learning concepts is an added advantage
- Knowledge of Digital Communication concepts and Semiconductor Physics
- Experience working with Automated Test Equipment (ATE)
- Advantest 93K experience is preferred
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 4+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.
OR
Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 3+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.
OR
PhD in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.
