Staff Data Engineer

We are looking for professionals from consulting background, preferably tier-1. This role sits at the intersection of data engineering, platform design, and applied analytics, supporting cross-disciplinary teams in building data systems that are robust, defensible, and automation-first. You'll serve as a senior individual contributor and mentor, own project-level architecture, shape technical standards, and contribute to Foundry's shared engineering culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable data pipelines, cloud-based data infrastructure, and modern data platforms using AWS/Azure/GCP, Snowflake, Airflow, dbt, Spark, and Python.
• Architect high-performance data models, automate workflows, and drive engineering best practices through Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, and reusable frameworks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver data engineering, analytics, and visualization solutions while mentoring junior engineers and conducting code reviews.
• Contribute to practice development by building reusable assets, evaluating emerging technologies, and supporting technical excellence across projects.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Infrastructure, or Software Engineering.
• Strong expertise in Python, SQL, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), Snowflake, Airflow, dbt, Spark, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD.
• Proven experience architecting scalable, reliable, and high-performance data systems with excellent stakeholder communication and mentoring skills.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
