Global Operations IT is responsible for providing MES service and support across all Seagate manufacturing sites. To support Hard Disk Drive build operations, Seagate is expanding its production capacity from Thailand and China to a new site in Singapore. As a result, the complete MES infrastructure, including services and support, must be established at the Singapore site.
About the role - you will:
- Setup MES system to be ready for new manufacturing with legacy system by Jul-Sep 2026
- Setup MES system to be ready for MES automation system in Oct.-Dec. 2026
- New hired training and end user training
- Handling incidents, issues, and service requests
- Troubleshooting and resolving application defects
- Coordinating with developers, infrastructure teams, and vendors
- Monitoring application performance and availability
- Supporting changes, upgrades, and production releases
About you:
- Drive manufacturing expertise
- Business analyst skill to provide the right MES solution to meet business requirement
- Project management skills to prepare MES infrastructure and system readiness to meet business timeline
Your experience includes:
- 4 Years in IT end user services
- 10 Years in Process engineering to manage products to meet customer demand and quality
- 6 Years Factory Information System for Head Gimbal assemble, and EDS System build manufacturing
- 10 Years in Factory Information System for HDD business
