. Responsible for supervising Mechanical, ACMV, HVAC, piping and other MEP services works on construction project sites.
. Ensure installations comply with project specifications, quality standards, approved shop drawings, and project milestones.
. Lead commissioning, testing, troubleshooting, and system handover activities for mechanical building services systems.
. Coordinate daily site activities of Mechanical and MEP subcontractors.
. Ensure mechanical, ACMV, HVAC, piping and MEP installations comply with quality standards, specifications, and approved drawings.
. Resolve space management and service coordination clashes during construction.
. Lead commissioning activities for mechanical systems and equipment including ACMV,HVAC, chilled water piping, process piping and associated MEP services including troubleshooting and system start-up support.
. Witness and verify testing results for mechanical systems and installations.
. Ensure all testing documentation complies with project Quality Assurance and Quality Compliance procedures.
. Provide feedback to Project Engineers on design discrepancies, design changes, and technical issues.
. Update Released for Construction drawings with site changes and coordinate revisions with Engineers and Senior Engineers.
. Monitor project schedules and support milestone achievement.
. Generate punch lists and defect lists and ensure timely close-out for client handover.
. Coordinate as-built drawing preparation with multidisciplinary teams.
. Monitor subcontractors manpower deployment and report schedule or manpower concerns.
. Verify and expedite subcontractor deliverables at site.
. Perform commissioning support activities and system start-up works for mechanical and MEP systems.
. Ensure testing, adjusting and balancing (TAB), flushing, pressure testing and troubleshooting activities are carried out appropriately for ACMV, HVAC and piping systems.
. Maintain complete testing and quality records within project quality dossiers.
. Support client inspections and obtain approvals on technical solutions and aesthetic requirements when required.
. Attend daily project coordination meetings.
. Inspect and approve materials and equipment delivered to site.
. Promote safe working practices and ensure compliance with site safety requirements.
. Maintain good housekeeping standards to ensure a safe and organized workplace.
. Arrange mock-ups and sample boards where required.
. Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or related discipline.
. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in site supervision of Mechanical, ACMV, HVAC, piping and MEP services.
. Experience in data centre, pharmaceutical, semiconductor, electronics, process plants or industrial construction projects is preferred.
. Building and Construction Authority registered Core Trade Foreman certification is advantageous.
. Knowledge of Singapore building codes and construction practices is advantageous.
. Knowledge of ACMV, HVAC, chilled water systems, piping installations and mechanical building services works.
. Knowledge of commissioning techniques and system start-up activities.
. Knowledge of pressure testing, flushing, TAB and troubleshooting of mechanical systems.
. Knowledge of local construction practices and requirements.
. Familiarity with local fire safety and building regulations is advantageous.
. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and Outlook.
