- Conduct heat-load calculations, psychrometric evaluation, airflow balance, pressure cascade design, and equipment sizing.
CFD & Engineering Analysis
- Perform ANSYS CFD simulations for airflow, thermal behaviour, and particle control inside cleanrooms and controlled environments.
- Interpret simulation results and optimise designs to meet ISO cleanroom classifications and environmental stability requirements.
Detailed Engineering Documentation
- Prepare detailed design drawings, schematics, and mechanical layout plans using AutoCAD/Revit/BIM.
- Produce mechanical schedules, system diagrams, and material specifications.
Tender & Technical Submissions
- Prepare technical specifications, design narratives, and Basis-of-Design (BOD) documents.
- Support tender evaluations, respond to clarifications, and participate in design reviews.
Project Coordination
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams and support authority submissions (BCA, SCDF, NEA, JTC).
- Provide design clarifications during construction, testing, and commissioning phases.
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
- 5-8 years of relevant design experience in semiconductor, cleanroom, or high-tech manufacturing facilities.
- Strong proficiency in ANSYS CFD or equivalent simulation tools.
- Solid experience in mechanical calculations, HVAC sizing, cleanroom engineering, and relevant codes (FM Global, NFPA 318, SS553, Fire Code, ASHRAE).
- Strong technical writing capability for preparing specifications and engineering reports.
- Independent, detail-oriented, and able to lead design tasks with minimal supervision.
What We Offer
- 5-day work week with a strong emphasis on work-life balance.
- Opportunity to work on advanced semiconductor EPC/EPCM projects.
- Supportive engineering team with opportunities to grow technical expertise (CFD, cleanroom design, BIM).
- Competitive remuneration and structured career development
