Position Summary:

Responsible for the managementof the IlluminaLaboratory Services(ILS)Quality Assuranceactivitiesand teamforthe Singaporesite.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the clinical quality system manager for ILS-SG.Ensure the Quality Systems areestablished, implemented, andmaintainedin compliance with allappropriatequalitystandardsand regulations

  • Promote the awareness of user's needs and requirements throughout ILS-SG.

  • Lead reporting to ILS-SGLeadership on the performance of the QMSand any necessary improvements,including preparing and hosting Management Reviews

  • Buildsand leadsa team of QualityAssurance StaffforILSQMS&Complianceactivitiesin Singapore.

  • Makesrecommendations onresource needs andfacilitateprocurement of resources, resolution of resource conflicts, and business justifications and/or trade-offs related to resourceutilization.

  • Grows talent within the organization by leading employee development initiatives.

  • Participates in the definition of area goals and drives teams to deliver on goals.

  • Drives continuous improvement initiatives to advance quality processes and capabilities.

  • Identify,maintainand communicate performance metrics for the QMS.

  • Co-ordinate and host QMS assessments by external bodies. Planactionsfor any improvementsrequiredto address the outcome of these assessments.

  • Work with ILS Leadership to resolve complaints, develop correctiveactionsandmonitorthe effectiveness of resolutions.

  • Work with global ILS quality managementtoexchange best practices and co-ordinateimprovementto quality processesand team development.

  • Responsible forexhibitingprofessionalbehaviourwith both internal/external business associates that reflects positively on the company and is consistent with the company's policies and practices.

Requirements:

  • Experience in quality assurance inlaboratory servicesor related standards(ISO15189, ISO17025, ISO13485)and/orHCSA licensing.

  • Extremelystrong communication, interpersonalskillsand customer focus.

  • Strong leadership skills withdemonstratedability to effectively work across teams and functions.

  • Experience in implementing andleveragingmetrics.

  • Adaptable to fast-paced, dynamic work environment and shifting demands.

  • Considerable experiencein managing people/resources effectively toaccomplishestablished goals.

  • Proven capacity to effectively manage and escalate risk.

  • Must beopen-minded,collaborativeand able to work in a non-hierarchical,matrix organization.

  • Must be able to look atprocesses atahigh levelas well as zoom in on a detailed level.

  • Project management skillspreferred.

  • RequiresBachelor'sdegree, may require an advanceddegree (Master's), inapplicablefield or equivalent.

  • Typicallyhassignificantwork experience, withconsiderable management experience.
