Job Summary:
This position leads a team of technical personnel and is responsible for APAC GF Department, Facilities Operations execution. This position reports to APAC GF Leadership.
This role is also responsible for supporting the quality operations related to the facility operations and maintenance, and compliance activities on the campus. Principal responsibilities include direct management of facilities inhouse and outsourced operation staff and functions, planned and predictive maintenance of central plant utilities support GMP manufacturing, and operational expense budget management.
Job scopes include but are not limited to:
Good knowledge and expertise in Facilities System such as ACMV, Mechanical and Electrical System are required
Lead a Facilities Operations and Maintenance team for scope execution for Singapore plant and offices. Support may extend to regional offices
Responsible for day to day operational issues and prompt response to Out of Specification situation for critical manufacturing environment
Management of contractors on outsourced services to ensure fulfillment of contracts terms and agreements
Support management of service and maintenance contracts
Sustain an automated Preventative Maintenance program for all facilities related infrastructure.
Develop and maintain critical spares strategy to support the operation
Develop and implement Procedure and Work Instruction for all critical facilities operations and activities
Support Compliance efforts for Operations-related initiatives
Support resource planning for Event Management
Plan and organize resource to ensure operation and system is operating at its highest efficiency, and minimize unplanned downtime
Lead Operation meeting to address critical issues
Ensure that all company procedures and policies are complied and carried out accordingly
Active participation in continuous improvement projects
Lead Facilities function in ISO, OHSAS, FDA certification programs
Support EHS and Security work scopes and projects
May need to travel to support regional projects
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
At least 5 years relevant working experience, preferably in Biotech, Pharmaceutical or Semiconductor facilities environment
Demonstrate leadership ability, critical and broad base thinking, trouble shooting ability and a Self-starter
Ability to work independently and with all levels
Demonstrated customer service and ability to communicate effectively and professionally
Experience with staff, budget and project management.
Must be committed and good team player.
Must be prepared to to work overtime when necessary, and ability to be on 24 hr standby
Must have proficiency with various software applications programs including MS Excel, Word and Power point
Knowledge of AutoCAD and CMMS will be advantageous
