Job Summary
The Senior Executive Social Media is responsible for managing and growing the school's social media presence across key digital platforms. This role focuses on creating engaging content, capturing authentic school experiences, and supporting marketing and admissions initiatives through impactful digital storytelling.
The role requires a hands-on content creator who is comfortable working in a dynamic school environment, covering events, producing multimedia content, and optimising social media performance through data-driven insights.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation & Management Plan: Create and publish daily content across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
Conceptualise engaging reels, short-form videos, and highlight stories to increase reach and engagement.
Develop and maintain content calendars aligned with school events, admissions priorities, and marketing campaigns.
Write compelling captions and craft visual storytelling tailored to each platform.
On-Ground Event Coverage: Attend and capture school events, Open Houses, assemblies, celebrations, and classroom activities
Produce high-quality photos and videos with editing and publishing within short turnaround timelines.
Collaborate with school leaders, coordinators, and teachers to highlight authentic student experiences.
Brand & Campaign Support
Work closely with the Marketing and Admissions teams to develop content that supports student recruitment and lead generation
Ensure consistent brand tone, style, and messaging across all social media platforms.
Coordinate with internal designers or external agencies on visual assets and campaign materials.
Analytics & Performance
Monitor social media performance, including reach, engagement, and follower growth
Optimise content using insights on timing, format, hashtags, and trends
Prepare monthly performance reports with recommendations for improvement.
Community Management: Monitor platform activity and community sentiment.
Respond to comments, messages, and queries professionally and promptly.
Escalate prospective student enquiries to the Admissions team, where appropriate.
Collaboration & Ownership
Collaborate closely with Content, Digital Marketing, and Admissions teams
Bring forward creative ideas, emerging trends, and innovative content formats
Take ownership of the school's social media channels and drive continuous improvement in digital engagement.
Required Skills & Experience
4-6 years of experience in Social Media or Content Creation (experience in education, lifestyle, or youth-focused industries preferred).
Strong hands-on skills in video shooting, editing, and short-form content creation
Proficiency in tools such as Canva, CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro or similar platforms.
Excellent communication and writing skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, event-driven environment
Strong sense of visual aesthetics, storytelling, and social media trends
