We're hiring a Sr. Executive, Quality Assurance (Operations) at IRVINS!
Join our operations team in ensuring every snack that leaves our facility meets the highest food safety and quality standards. You'll lead daily QC operations, manage CCP and OPRP compliance, and drive continuous improvement across our BRCGS, HACCP, GMP, and FDA-aligned systems — while coaching and developing a hands-on QC team on the factory floor. Key Responsibilities:
Support on Daily Operation
- Align with company policy to ensure good quality and safe products are produced throughout production.
- To review and maintain all CCP's and OPRP programs are updated and comply with FSQA requirements.
- To train and supervise QC inspector on-job training to ensure food safety and quality competency as well as worker safety.
- To support daily factory operation, trials and perform daily inspection tasks according to BRCGS, SMETA 4-pillars, FDA standards, HACCP & GMP requirements and relevant requirements and regulatory to ensure compliances.
- To support daily product release and ensure all parameters are meeting regulatory requirements.
- To establish SOP for QC inspector to accommodate the Quality requirements in the production area and get a review and approval from the QA manager.
- To conduct verification and validation on any changes related to food safety and quality.
- Issue CAPA to relevant departments on any non-conformance identified, review and monitor CPAR closure and effectiveness.
- Conduct daily meetings to QC team on the duty roster, inspection procedures, fulfilment of inspection record
- Report to QA manager regarding overall Quality performances which include good documentation, good manufacturing practice and good hygiene practice in the plant.
- Support daily laboratory operation and QC lab consumables are properly stocked for daily operations
- To undertake other tasks, which are assigned by the QA manager.
Supply Quality Management
- Ensure timely feedback from the warehouse team and supplier for any non-conformance or quality deficiency for the supplied items.
- Support raw material inspection data analysis as part of reporting to Quality Manager, include the improvement action that Supplier has taken.
- Liaise with relevant departments e.g. supply chain and R&D department, on new suppliers on-boarding process and existing suppliers for any changes as well as continual improvement initiatives.
Our Dream Candidate
- Minimum requirement degree in food science or food technology. Preferably candidate with 2-3 years working experience in operation in FMCG industry.
- Possess good interpersonal skills and able to work collaboratively with other departments, different levels of people and multiple suppliers.
- Good at problem solving.
- Experienced in leading a group of QC team to ensure daily inspections are carried out in respective areas in the factory according to Manual & procedures of BRCGS, SMETA 4-pillars, FDA, HACCP standard and GMP requirements and others food safety standards.
- Good understanding and working experience in root cause analysis on deviation and non-conformances handling and good problem-solving skills with use of QC tools.
- Experience in developing SOP, work instructions, checklist, forms, and records and FSQA related testing.
- Able to work under minimum supervision and tight deadlines.
