Sr Engineering Specialist

About our group:

MDW - Automation Servo writer team is responsible for maintaining product downtime & quality, and manufacturing uptime. You will be working with some of the world-class technologies and equipment to certify the recording media for any physical and magnetic defects before being assembled into hard disk

About the role - you will:

• Maintain the robot downtime ,safety hazards reduction and cost saving projects
• Provide support to Maintenance and Manufacturing for smooth running of production lines
• Monitor product performance status,5S and monthly PM
• Support the product engineers on engineering experiment and software evaluations
• Duties also include monitoring line issue and yield
• Any other ad-hoc duties assigned by manager

About you:

• Diploma in Electrical, Mechatronic Engineering, or related Engineering Diploma
• Self-motivated and positive working attitude.
• Team player with good problem-solving skill.
• Willing to work in clean room environment.
• Willing to work on 12hr (7.30pm to 7.45am) night shift pattern

Your experience includes:

• Relevant experience in the manufacturing industry will be an added advantage

Our Woodlands site is one of the largest electronics manufacturing sites in Singapore, housing our recording media operations.
