Process Integration (PI) department acts as the bridge between device design, unit‑process engineering, yield, and manufacturing. Its mission is to ensure that all process steps, across many modules, work together to produce functional and high‑yielding devices.
Job Description
Identify, resolve, and improve process integration and yield issues and related problems. The engineer will be carry out below day to day tasks such as :
Own process integration for assigned modules
Define and optimize process flows to achieve electrical performance, yield targets, and manufacturability
Drive cross‑functional problem solving with equipment, device, yield, and process engineering teams
Lead defect/Yield troubleshooting by analyzing inline data, electrical test results, and physical failure analysis to identify root causes
Support customer/product requests including device performance evaluations and issue resolution.
Perform project management and data analysis
Identify and resolve low yield issues, process integration issues and related problems
Develop custom or derivative processes to meet customer needs
Work with cross function teams to reduce defect activities and resolve technical & yield concerns
Drive CIP (Continuous improvement plans) to deliver organizational goals
Build and develop defect source library and tool's defect source fingerprinting
Perform product/process partitioning study for yield & defect characterization to drive defect improvements
Ensure that processes are well documented, failure modes are assessed and have mitigation and detection in place
Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements
