Your Job
We are seeking a Senior Engineer, EHS to lead and continually improve our Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) programs at our Singapore site. This role plays a critical part in ensuring regulatory compliance, protecting employee wellbeing, and strengthening a safe and sustainable manufacturing environment.
Our Team
You will be part of the DSS organization, working closely with site leadership, safety committees, employees, contractors, and regional Molex partners to drive EHS excellence across the facility.
What You Will Do
- Lead & continually improve the EH&S management system (ISO 14001 & 45001, SR-RBA etc.).
- Ensure full regulatory EH&S compliances (Environmental monitoring and testing, housekeeping and Industrial hygiene etc.)
- Organize, lead and coordinate mandatory monthly EHS Committee meeting,
- Lead risk assessments, safety audits, and inspections to ensure workplace safety
- Lead EHS training, risk assessments, and incident investigations
- Conduct periodic EH&S & Security Compliance audits, implement workplace & machine safety correction/improvement measures to ensure 100% compliance to local EH&S law & regulations.
- Organize and coordinate periodic Employee Health & Occupational Safety testing (Audiometric, Industrial Hygiene, Noise Monitoring, radiation exposure testing etc.)
- Establish & implement safe work procedures, ensure compliance and periodic review/inspect/audit to ensure conformance and improve ESH Management System.
- Appointed FSM. Conduct regular factory inspection. Implement Fire Safety measures/programs (Fire Emergency plan, Fire Drills etc.) to ensure full compliance to local regulation.
- Conduct Noise monitoring and hearing conservation program. Implement measures to fully comply local regulatory requirements.
- Establish and implement sustainable General and Hazardous Waste Management program to protect the environment (3-R initiatives), conserve resources and ensure compliances.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Degree in Mechanical, Environmental, Safety Engineering, or equivalent
- Registered Workplace Health & Safety Officer and Certified Fire Safety Manager
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage employees at all levels
What Will Put You Ahead
- Certification as Noise Monitoring & Control Officer or Confined Space Assessor
- Experience in EHS roles involving chemical or wastewater treatment processes
- Strong knowledge of EHS management and security systems
