Job Description

SUMMARY:

The Sr. Director of APAC Marketing is the regional marketing leader responsible for building and accelerating the Crocs brand across the Asia-Pacific region, including Korea, Japan, SEA, and India. This leader will define and execute region-specific marketing strategies that are rooted in the global brand narrative while deeply resonant with local culture, consumer behavior, and market dynamics.

This role is accountable for driving brand awareness, consumer acquisition, and cultural relevance across one of Crocs most critical and fast-growing regions. This role will lead a team of regional marketers, align closely with global brand and commercial leadership, and serve as the primary voice of the APAC consumer within the global organization.

This leader will work across integrated marketing, media, influencer, social, creative, retail activations, and PR to ensure Crocs shows up with cultural authority and brand consistency in every APAC market.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Define and lead the multi-year APAC marketing strategy across Korea, Japan, SEA, and India, balancing global brand standards with meaningful regional relevance.
  • Serve as a member of the Global Marketing Leadership team and the Regional APAC leadership Team and is the primary strategic marketing partner to APAC General Managers and commercial leaders.
  • Align marketing investment to business priorities andgrowth targets.
  • Develop and execute integrated go-to-market plans thatdrive brand awareness, consumer acquisition, and product sell-through acrossall APAC markets.
  • Leverage cultural and consumer insight in the regionand translate into actionable creative and campaign direction.
  • Partner with the Global Brand and Creative teams tolocalize brand narrative and seasonal campaigns in ways that are authentic andresonant for each market.
  • Oversee APAC influencer strategy, celebrity and talentpartnerships, and brand collaborations, ensuring they amplify culturalcredibility and expand reach.
  • Manage and develop the APAC marketing team acrossmarkets, building capability, coaching talent, and fostering a high-performanceculture.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment with Global Marketing,Product, Creative, Visual Merchandising, Retail, and Digital teams to ensurecohesive execution.
  • Establish KPIs, measurement frameworks, and reportingcadences that demonstrate the business impact of regional marketing investment.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulatory, cultural, and legal requirements across all marketing programs.

Job Requirements and Skills:

  • 12+ years of brand and marketing experience, with significant leadership experience in APAC markets - Korea, Japan, SEA, and/or India required.
  • Deep cultural fluency and consumer knowledge across multiple APAC markets ability to navigate local nuance while maintaining global brand standards.
  • Proven track record building and scaling brand marketing programs at a regional or global level.
  • Experience leading integrated campaigns across paid, earned, and owned channels with demonstrated business results.
  • Strong understanding of influencer marketing, celebrity partnerships, and cultural collaboration models in APAC.
  • Footwear, fashion, lifestyle, or consumer goods industry experience is strongly preferred.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to develop talent, lead through influence, and manage across cultures and time zones.
  • Strong executive communication skills - able to synthesize complex regional dynamics and present with clarity to senior leadership.
  • Analytical skills to evaluate campaign performance, consumer insights, and market trends, translating data into actionable strategy.
  • Collaborative and integrative working style ability to build trust and alignment across global and regional teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
  • Ability to travel internationally APAC-based or experience working directly with APAC teams is a significant plus.
