Job Scope
As a Data Analytics & Regulatory Reporting Automation Specialist, you will be part of the client's Data Analytics & Regulatory Reporting Automation team, supporting the transformation of manual, fragmented reporting processes into robust, scalable, and automated data solutions.
You will work closely with client business stakeholders, IT teams, and multiple vendors to deliver data-driven improvements, ensure regulatory compliance, and achieve measurable business outcomes. The role requires a strong balance of hands-on analytics delivery, stakeholder engagement, and data governance awareness.
Job Responsibilities
Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication
- Work closely with client business users and IT teams to identify, prioritize, and deliver data-driven improvement initiatives.
- Facilitate clear, structured, two-way communication across client, company and partner/vendor teams.
- Build strong stakeholder relationships to understand business objectives and translate them into actionable analytics solutions.
- Manage expectations, risks, and dependencies across multiple workstreams.
Data Analytics Solution Development
- Design, develop, and implement data analytics solutions, including:
- ETL / data preparation workflows
- Dashboards and analytical reports
- Utilize tools such as Alteryx, Power BI, or other client-approved ETL and BI platforms.
- Apply hands-on analytics expertise to solve business problems and deliver quantifiable outcomes aligned with regulatory and operational needs.
Requirements Gathering & Workshop Facilitation
- Lead or actively participate in requirements-gathering workshops and process discovery sessions.
- Analyse existing business and reporting processes to identify inefficiencies and automation opportunities.
- Ask the right questions to uncover root causes, dependencies, and data gaps.
- Translate business requirements into clear functional and technical specifications.
Analytics Support & Regulatory Reporting
- Provide ongoing analytics and reporting support to enable timely, accurate, and compliant decision-making.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports for management, regulatory, and operational use cases.
- Present deliverables, insights, and project status clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Apply strong task and delivery management discipline to ensure high-quality and on-time outcomes.
Data Modeling & Documentation
- Design, document, and maintain:
- Data models
- ETL workflows
- BI dashboards and reports
- Ensure all documentation is clear, structured, and stakeholder-friendly, enabling smooth handover and support across teams.
- Maintain alignment with client documentation standards and governance requirements.
Data Governance & Compliance
- Ensure analytics solutions comply with client data governance policies, data management standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Support the implementation of data stewardship principles, metadata management, and audit-ready reporting processes.
- Contribute to governance reviews, control checks, and compliance validations as required.
Data Quality & Issue Resolution
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, analyse, and resolve data quality issues across source and downstream systems.
- Troubleshoot issues in ETL pipelines, reports, and dashboards to ensure data consistency, accuracy, and reliability.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives for data quality monitoring and remediation.
Additional Responsibilities
- Support the adoption of data governance tools, frameworks, and standards as directed by the client.
- Provide knowledge transfer, training, and user support on analytics and reporting solutions where required.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by client management, including coverage for team members when needed.
- Proactively escalate risks, issues, and dependencies to client supervisors or company's DATA management in a timely and professional manner.
Required Skills & Experience
Technical Skills
- Hands-on experience with data analytics and automation tools such as:
- Alteryx
- Power BI
- Or equivalent ETL and BI platforms
- Strong understanding of data analytics workflows, reporting automation, and dashboard development.
- Experience creating and documenting data models and ETL processes.
Business & Delivery Skills
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience working in client-facing environments.

Data Governance & Compliance

- Experience supporting audit-ready reporting and controlled data environments (FSI / regulated industries preferred).
Preferred Qualifications (Good to Have)
- Experience in regulatory reporting, risk, compliance, or finance data domains.
- Exposure to FSI, Banking, or other regulated industry environments.
- Familiarity with data governance tools, metadata management, or lineage frameworks.
- Prior experience working in multi-vendor delivery environments.
