Sr. Associate, IT Business Systems Analysis

The Sr. Associate, IT Business Systems Analysis, part of Alcon's Information Technology function, is primarily responsible for supporting the design, development, and delivery of IT systems that meet business needs, focusing on complex problem-solving and aligning IT solutions with strategic objectives.

In this role, a typical day will include:

. Support the design, development, testing, and successful delivery of IT solutions that align with business needs and enhance operations
. Collaborate with business users and IT teams to ensure systems meet functional and non-functional requirements
. Identify opportunities for process improvements and assist in system enhancements
. Troubleshoot and resolve issues with IT systems, ensuring they align with business goals
. Assist in documenting system requirements, user guides, and technical specifications
. Make decisions related to day-to-day tasks and issues within assigned projects, working under the guidance of senior team members for more complex decisions

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO ALCON:

• Degree in Information Technology (Information Systems, Computer Science) or equivalent technology related field.
• Minimum: 5+ years in an IT Business Analyst or equivalent position in a manufacturing environment

• Experience in full implementation of mid-large scale IT or OT system as the Technical SME / Project Manager
• Solid knowledge with MS SQL and Postgre SQL databases
• 2+ years experience in data analysis and reporting development will be an added advantage
• Experience and knowledge in working with S3 AWS, data visualization tools such as Tableau and PowerBI, and scripting/programming (eg. Python)preferred
