Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver high-quality, fully tested code with strong focus on SQL performance and optimization
- Design and optimize complex queries, stored procedures, and indexing strategies
- Analyze execution plans, troubleshoot locking, blocking, and deadlocks
- Collaborate with business analysts and architects to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Build and maintain scalable ETL pipelines using Apache Spark and SQL
- Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and ensure best practices
- Maintain technical documentation and provide accurate development estimates
Required Skills & Experience
- Expert in MS SQL Server (query optimization, indexing, execution plans, performance tuning)
- Strong experience in SQL profiling, monitoring, and troubleshooting
- Hands-on with Apache Spark (SQL, Data Frames ,ETL pipelines)
- Proficient in Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, RESTAPIs
- Experience with data warehousing, ETL design, and large-scale data processing
- Knowledge of Shell scripting (Bash) for automation
- Familiar with CI/CD (Jenkins/GitLab) and scheduling tools (Airflow/Control-M)
- Understanding of banking/financial data environments
