We are looking for an experienced and skilled Spray Painter (Motor Vehicle) to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out spray painting and refinishing work on motorcycles and other motor vehicles, ensuring a high-quality finish and meeting the company's standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare vehicle surfaces for painting, including sanding, cleaning, masking and priming.
- Perform spray painting and refinishing work on motorcycles and motor vehicle components.
- Mix and match paint colours according to specifications.
- Inspect painted surfaces to ensure a smooth, even and high-quality finish.
- Carry out touch-ups and corrective painting work when required.
- Maintain spray painting equipment, tools and work areas in clean and good working condition.
- Follow workplace safety procedures and proper handling of paints, solvents and related materials.
- Perform other duties related to vehicle spray painting and refinishing as assigned.
Requirements
- Relevant experience in motor vehicle or motorcycle spray painting is preferred.
- Candidates with relevant spray painting experience and practical skills are encouraged to apply.
- Able to perform surface preparation, paint mixing and spray painting independently.
- Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Able to work independently as well as in a team.
- Physically fit and comfortable working in a workshop environment.
