Sports Masseur / Stretch Therapist

Role Description

This is a contract role for a Sports Masseur / Stretch Therapist located on-site in Singapore. The therapist will be responsible for providing various massage therapies including functional stretch therapy, assisted joint mobilisation and trigger point therapy. Additionally, the therapist will assist in treatment sessions aimed at enhancing recovery and performance for athletes. Tasks include assessing client needs, tailoring massage techniques to individual requirements, and ensuring a holistic approach to client care.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in functional stretch, trigger point therapy and sports massage/active release technique.
• Skills in providing sports recovery and long term progression in strength and recovery.
• Strong understanding of sports therapy and pre-habilitation/rehabilitation principles
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Relevant certification or diploma in massage therapy or a related field
• Prior experience working with athletes is a plus
