Sports Executive (Botanic Gardens)
Salary: $2,800 - $3,200 per month
Contract Duration: 20 months
Start Date: Immediate
Working Hours
Monday to Thursday: 8:30 AM - 6:00 PM (inclusive of 1-hour lunch break)
Friday: 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM (inclusive of 1-hour lunch break)
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Sports Management, Sports Science, or a related discipline.
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in sports event management or a similar role.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong organisational and coordination skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly MS Excel.
- Familiarity with AI tools is an an advantage.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Good problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Sports Education (SE) Unit on the planning and administration of key sports events and activities.
- Coordinate with SE Unit workstreams and officers to organise and manage events.
- Manage the administration of recognition programmes.
- Coordinate venue bookings for schools and approved external organisations.
- Work with media partners to coordinate live streams, student-athlete interviews, and media features.
- Provide administrative and logistical support for programmes and related events.
- Assist with the administration of grants provided by external stakeholders and partners.
- Support procurement and payment processing.
- Attend and record minutes during bi-weekly unit meetings and other relevant meetings.
- Perform other duties assigned by the Deputy Director or Senior Assistant Director.
