We are seeking experienced and passionate
Speech Therapist/ Senior Speech Therapist to join our community-based services in the following areas:
- Paediatric Rehabilitation (Early Intervention Programme)
- Adult Rehabilitation
- Community-Based Rehabilitation (Day Activity Centres, Day Rehabilitation Centres, Nursing Homes)
As a member of a dynamic Allied Health team, you will deliver speech therapy services to our partners across the community sector.
Responsibilities
As a Speech Therapist, you are expected to:
- Assess and identify the needs of individual clients to recommend appropriate therapeutic interventions and programmes.
- Conduct individual or group therapy to ensure client outcomes.
- Participate in public education/outreach to build an inclusive society.
- Keep abreast of the latest research and developments in speech therapy and be involved in networking with hospitals and other community organisations.
- Senior Speech Therapists will be expected to take on supervisory and administrative roles in addition to clinical work.
Requirements
- Bachelor or Masters Degree in Speech Therapy (or equivalent) recognised by the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC).
- Eligible for registration as Speech Therapist with the AHPC in Singapore.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage clients and families with empathy and professionalism.
- A team player with a heart for serving in the social service sector and supporting people with disabilities.
- Experience in management and multi-agency collaboration will be an added advantage.
