Key Responsibilities:
- Assessment and treatment of children in the clinic, home and school setting.
- Prepare necessary clinical reports and maintain accurate, up-to-date notes using the Plato system.
- Contribute to diagnostic reports for families.
- To regularly work with parents and carers from both local and expat backgrounds.
- Organise and plan targeted intervention groups for children.
- Contribute to ongoing professional development of others within the practice and within schools through educational talks.
- Collaborate closely with other therapists and families to ensure therapy goals are integrated across environments.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with schools, providing consultation and ongoing therapeutic input.
- Contribute to the development of best practice, service improvements, and innovation within the team.
- Attend regular team meetings and clinical supervision sessions.
- Actively promote the services of TOC and contribute to client retention.
Essential Criteria:
- Recognised Bachelor / Master Degree in Speech & Language Pathology.
- Full Registration with Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC).
- Be able to work independently.
- Proven ability to work therapeutically with children, families, and their carers.
- Demonstrated commitment to neurodiversity-affirming practice.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong administrative and record-keeping skills.
- IT skills in Office Applications such as Word, Excel, use of Apps.
- Committed to ongoing professional development and reflective practice.
- Well versed with case management (working with parents, schools, other stakeholders)
- Openness to travel to homes and schools if necessary
Preferable Criteria:
- Previous working experience with school-aged to adolescent clients.
- Previous working experience with clients from mainstream schools.
- Training in Hanen & Social Thinking.
