Role Description
This is a locum role for a Speech and Language Therapist based in Singapore. The primary responsibilities include assessing and diagnosing speech, language, and communication disorders, creating and implementing individualized therapy plans, and working collaboratively with clients, families, and other professionals. The therapist will also provide support for individuals with dysphagia and other related conditions, monitor progress, and adjust interventions as needed. Additionally, the role involves contributing to a holistic, evidence-based approach to client care.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Speech Therapy and expertise in addressing Speech difficulties
- Experience in identifying and managing Dysphagia
- Strong skills in assessing and treating Communication and Language Disorders
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Compassionate, patient, and adaptable approach to addressing individual needs
- Relevant professional certifications in Speech and Language Therapy
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech and Language Therapy or a related field
- Prior experience working with special needs, children, adolescents, and/or adults is an advantage
- Speaking mandarin is a plus
