Job Summary
You will perform a variety of spa treatments tailored to client needs, ensure client comfort and safety, maintain a clean and well-equipped spa environment, and support daily spa operations to deliver a high-quality experience.
Responsibilities
Providing Spa Treatments:
- Perform massages, body wraps, and other spa treatments using safe and effective techniques suited to individual client needs
- Explain treatment procedures and techniques clearly to clients to ensure understanding and comfort
Client Focus:
- Collect and update client health histories before each session to tailor treatments safely
- Respond promptly and professionally to client questions and expectations to enhance satisfaction
- Recommend suitable products and services based on client needs and preferences
Maintaining a Spa Environment:
- Clean and sanitize treatment areas and equipment to maintain a safe and hygienic spa environment
- Inspect and ensure all equipment is functioning properly before use
- Manage inventory by monitoring product and supply levels and restocking as needed
Other Responsibilities:
- Prepare treatment areas efficiently to support smooth operations
- Keep the spa tidy and organized throughout the day
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Hold a diploma or certificate in massage therapy, holistic massage, or a related field from recognized institutions such as ITEC, WSQ, CIBTAC, CEDESCO, NSRS, or NITEC
- Have at least 2 years of experience working in the aesthetic or beauty spa industry
- Possess prior experience working in a spa environment
