SPA THERAPIST

Job Description:

. Provide a full range of spa and wellness services to clients, including body massages, facials, aromatherapy treatments, and other beauty therapies according to established protocols.

. Conduct thorough consultations with clients to understand their needs, health conditions, and treatment goals, then recommend suitable services and aftercare advice.

. Maintain high standards of hygiene and sanitation in the treatment rooms, spa equipment, and work areas at all times, in compliance with local health and safety regulations.

. Perform pre- and post-treatment care for clients, including explaining treatment processes, aftercare instructions, and product recommendations to enhance treatment effectiveness.

. Build positive relationships with clients, ensure a comfortable and relaxing experience, and encourage repeat visits and referrals.

. Manage client records, including treatment history, preferences, and progress, in a confidential and organized manner.

. Assist with inventory management of spa products and supplies, and ensure adequate stock levels.

. Adhere to the spa's customer service standards, policies, and procedures at all times.

Job Requirements:

. Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience as a Spa Therapist in a professional spa, wellness centre, or hotel environment (preferred).

. Possess relevant certifications or qualifications in spa therapy, massage therapy, or beauty treatments (recognized by local authorities is a plus).

. Proficient in various massage techniques (Swedish, deep tissue, aromatherapy, etc.) and facial treatments.

. Strong communication skills in English basic conversational Mandarin is an advantage to cater to local and international clients.

. Able to work flexible hours, including weekends, public holidays, and shift work as required.

. Passionate about wellness, beauty, and holistic health, with a genuine desire to help clients achieve their relaxation and skincare goals.

. Physically fit to perform treatments for extended periods, with a professional, friendly, and approachable demeanour.
