Job Description

  • Assist the Head Chef in managing daily kitchen operations.
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure food quality and consistency.
  • Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation according to company standards.
  • Maintain proper stock levels and coordinate with the purchasing team for supplies.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health regulations.
  • Develop new menu items and contribute creative ideas for seasonal or special dishes.
  • Monitor portion control, waste reduction, and cost efficiency in the kitchen.
  • Handle kitchen staff scheduling and resolve operational issues during shifts.
  • Step in to lead the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment.
