What will you do
A day in the life of a Sourcing Developer looks a little like this.
You'll be part of the Apparel Sourcing Team, supporting the execution of the sourcing strategy and owning key parts of the end‑to‑end product development process. This role sits at the intersection of product, sourcing, and supply chain, and works closely with vendors, the Timberland Product Development team, and cross‑functional partners to deliver products on time and to standard.
You'll manage seasonal execution against the calendar, track progress using data and digital tools, and help keep development and sourcing activities moving smoothly. Along the way, you'll also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across product development and the apparel supply chain. You'll report into Sourcing leadership and work with a high level of independence while staying closely aligned to VF's priorities and values.

- Execute end‑to‑end product development activities, ensuring seasonal milestones and sample delivery dates are met
- Support sourcing strategy by allocating products to vendors based on established guidelines and business priorities
- Work directly with vendors to manage development tasks, resolve issues, and drive performance expectations
- Partner with Product Development, Sourcing, and cross‑functional teams to ensure smooth seasonal execution
- Track and manage data using tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, Smartsheet, PowerBI, and PLM, and turn information into clear insights
- Monitor calendar adherence and flag risks early, proposing practical solutions to keep timelines on track
- Independently manage day‑to‑day operational tasks while escalating issues when needed
- Contribute to continuous improvement projects related to product development processes and the apparel supply chain
- Support Sourcing leadership with analysis, reporting, and execution of key initiatives

Education and experience:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
- 1+ year of relevant experience in sourcing or product development is highly desirable
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus but not required
- Willingness to travel as required
