Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers to support quality, cost, delivery, and business continuity requirements.
  • Develop and maintain effective supplier relationships to support operational needs and achieve optimal commercial outcomes.
  • Conduct supplier performance reviews and risk assessments to drive continuous improvement and mitigate supply chain risks.
  • Manage end-to-end procurement activities, including request for quotation (RFQ), supplier evaluation, negotiation, and purchase order issuance.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand procurement requirements, project timelines, and business priorities.
  • Monitor and ensure timely delivery of goods and services, and work with suppliers to resolve supply, delivery, or quality-related issues.
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, lead times, and commercial terms to achieve cost savings and manage business risks.
  • Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records and prepare sourcing and procurement reports as required.
  • Support internal and external audits, including documentation and compliance requirements.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, process optimization, and standardization across procurement and supply chain operations.
  • Carry out other duties as assigned.

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Procurement, Logistics, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in sourcing, procurement, supply chain, manufacturing, or a related field is advantageous.
  • Candidates with relevant education, transferable skills, and a demonstrated interest in procurement are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong negotiation, stakeholder management, and supplier relationship management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience using ERP systems (for example, SAP) is advantageous.
  • Good analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and follow-up skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across functions.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic manufacturing or operational environment.
