We are strengthening our sourcing capabilities and are looking for a Sourcing Specialist/Engineer to support RFQ turnaround, supplier sourcing, and project ramp-up readiness. This role will work closely with Sales and Project teams to deliver cost-effective and high-quality sourcing solutions for custom quotations.
Responsibilities:
- Independently manage sourcing activities to achieve best-in-class sourcing, cost targets, and supply risk mitigation for both NPI and sustaining programs
- Support fast turnaround of RFQs to meet business and customer requirements
- Source and develop cost-effective and reliable suppliers, including machining, sheet metal, casting, raw materials, and standard components
- Work closely with internal stakeholders (Sales, Engineering, Project teams) to support project ramp-up and readiness
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing agreements to secure favourable conditions and minimise risks
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies to ensure cost competitiveness and supply continuity
- Maintain strong supplier relationships and monitor supplier performance
- Support ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the reporting manager
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field
- At least 5 years of relevant working experience in sourcing / procurement / supply chain
- Strong experience in supplier management and negotiation
- Good network of suppliers (machining / sheet metal / casting / raw materials preferred)
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, data analysis) and PowerPoint
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills
- Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
