Procurement & Sourcing Manager Luxury Beauty

About the Role
We are an internationnal luxury company seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Procurement & Sourcing Manager with a strong background in luxury B2C beauty and fragrance. This role is essential to ensuring the quality, reliability, and scalability of our product lines, including high-end packaging, glass components, and ancillary cosmetic items. You will manage end-to-end sourcing from supplier development to production oversight and play a strategic role in optimizing our global supply chain. It is senior-level position within a fast-growing, design-led luxury company.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and lead procurement and supplier strategy for all product categories: fragrance, beauty ancillaries, accessories, and packaging
- Source, qualify, and manage manufacturers for glass bottles, cosmetic components, luxury primary and secondary packaging (boxes, foils, silk printing), and toiletries ancillaries
- Coordinate closely with filling factories and OEM partners to ensure quality and timeline adherence
- Oversee cost negotiations, MOQ analysis, lead-time planning, and quality control documentation.
- Liaise with internal product designers and development teams to translate creative briefs into manufacturable specs
- Track production status and shipment proactively, resolve supply or quality issues
- Maintain updated supply chain documentation, compliance certifications, and vendor performance reviews
- Build and manage sourcing operations across China and Southeast Asia, including Malaysia
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of sourcing & procurement experience in the B2C beauty, fragrance, or skincare industry
- Proven track record managing suppliers for glassware, luxury packaging, cosmetics ancillaries, and OEM filling
- Strong network of vetted manufacturers, ideally across China and Malaysia
- Fluent in Mandarin Chinese (written & spoken) essential for factory communication
- Proficiency in vendor audits, QC check, compliance tracking, and international shipping documentation
- Exceptional negotiation, multitasking, and supplier relationship skills
- Experience working in agile, design-driven organizations a plus
- Knowledge of sustainability requirements in packaging and clean beauty manufacturing is a bonus
